All VALORANT Ranks: Lowest to Highest
VALORANT’s Competitive mode uses a ranking system to separate players by skill level and enable fair, skill-based matchmaking. There are nine main Ranks in VALORANT, each divided into three tiers, except for the highest Rank, Radiant, which stands alone. This results in a total of 25 Ranks in VALORANT.
For example, the Gold rank is split into Gold 1, Gold 2, and Gold 3, where Gold 1 is the lowest and Gold 3 is the highest within that Rank tier.

The Radiant Rank stands out as it represents the top VALORANT players in a region and is not divided into any levels. Only the top 500 players from each region can hold the Radiant Rank at any given time.
Players can remain unranked if their account is new or if a rank reset has occurred at the start of a new Episode. To receive a rank, players must play the required number of placement matches in Competitive mode, after which an appropriate rank is assigned based on performance. For new accounts, reaching Level 20 is a prerequisite to becoming eligible for Competitive matches.
